Really awesome server, reasonable prices and good food. Hit it at happy hour 2-5pm, and save $9 on their Mai Tai and discounts on food. Indoor and outdoor seating…

I wish I had more time to come back and eat everything on the menu. So fresh and the flavors are phenomenal. I got the roasted vegetable platter with fish and when it came out the foodie in me cried with joy. Then I took a bite and my excitement was validated. The fish wasn’t my absolute favorite because I was hoping for a softer, more “melt-in-the-mouth” fish and this was a bit dry/tough, but I’d just get the shrimp option the next visit. Loved the fun (albeit a little loud) atmosphere and the service was quick and wonderful.

You can never go wrong at Moku’s. The service is impeccable. They are so thoughtful and pet-friendly (but please bring only your well-behaved pups!). It’s of the Merriman’s brand so the standard is high. I don’t know if they do this for all, but it’s a special place and the live local music is such a vibe. Mahalo nunui!!

Absolutely amazing food! Great, fast service and inviting atmosphere. I’ve been here several times now and I’ve never been disappointed. Parking is easy (in the colocated parking garage).

Moku is such a great place to wind down after work—the kind of spot where the day loosens its collar the moment you sit down. Their happy hour is perfect for sharing: small plates but big, bold flavors that hit all the right notes. As a solo diner, I ordered the potstickers and the poke taco. The potstickers are perfectly pan-seared with that golden, crisp bite, and the poke tacos are fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor—one of those dishes that disappears way too fast. Both are great picks for happy hour and pair perfectly with a cold HAZE IPA. Moku is an easy go-to in Kakaʻako when you want good food, good drinks, and a relaxing vibe to close out the day. Always a solid choice.

This restaurant serves a delicious happy hour menu. Everyone throughly enjoyed their food. I recommend the green beans, pork sliders and the wontons. The Mai Tai was perfect!

After looking at other people's pictures I expected more of a touristy place, I was pleasantly surprised that it was such a mixed crowd. There were local business people, group lunches, couples, college age couples, tourists, locals, and even a few families. The standout for me was the staff, lots of really nice people working here, it felt relaxed and friendly. The food and flavor combos were satisfying and pleasant, not epicurean perfection, but tasty enough that I will definitely be back to try more dishes. My favorite dish was the mochi chocolate cake, it was so soft, slightly dense and custard-y, and so so delicious (sorry no picture). For lunch, I had the fish sandwich with truffle fries. The fish was a little strong, and for me personally, the flavor leaned more towards sweet vs the vinegary spicy flavor I was expecting but still good. The fish glaze was mostly sugary teriyaki and ginger. The truffle fries had a nice balanced truffle flavor, but were slightly soft (fry texture) in some parts. Overall, recommended and I will definitely try more plates. It seemed like a nice place for adventurous visitors to try some more American style versions of local flavors.

We hit up Happy Hour and leaned into the cocktails—definitely a highlight. But don’t let the drinks steal the show; the pizza is solid, but the ravioli was the surprise winner of the night. It’s the kind of dish that makes you slow down and actually enjoy the atmosphere. I liked the layout. Whether you want to be right at the bar to soak up the noise, tucked into a cubicle for a bit more privacy, watch the live music upfront, or catching the breeze outside, this place has a spot for everyone. {Note: Friday night can get crazy. A 15 min wait is closer to an hour... Nearly missed happy hour. Couldn't get nibbles, as we are now running late for our dinner reservation. 1 hour of happy hour lost...} Bring a group, grab a few pizzas and a couple of rounds, and let the live music handle the rest. Definitely a go-to for a casual but high-energy evening. And grab some "merch" to mark the occasion! EDIT 2026: Kiana and the team looked after us immensely! Ty. ♥️

This was my fourth time here so it's time to review. The food is tasty and fresh. I've had the fish n chips, the fettuccine bolognese, the smash burger and the shrimp tacos. The quality is consistent. The service is also top notch. The servers are pleasant and very attentive. You can reserve a table online or walk-in. I've only walked in and the wait is never long, only a few minutes. I brought my Mom here twice and she loves it. I hope they remain open for a long time. This is an establishment I will patronize more often.
